This Friday and Saturday sees the annual Music Showcase Weekend at the Racecourse.

On Saturday, gates open at 11.15am, set to be followed by a concert from S Club.

The music on Saturday is scheduled to end by approximately 7.30pm.

Admission on the gates, for Saturday is available to Stands Side from 11.15am (County Stand and Grandstand & Paddock).

Clocktower Enclosure remains a great option for a picnic, on either day and is only ever available for sale on the raceday itself. There is a view of the stage from across the track , with giant screens and a Festival quality sound system bringing the music to the infield.

Under18s are admitted free into Clocktower Enclosure and £10 on Stands Side.

The artists will be conducting sound checks earlier on Saturday; one reason for this is so that the appropriate sound levels can be set ahead of the actual concerts.

The event has been planned with the knowledge of City of York Council, so in accordance with their guidelines.
