The York Gin Ebor Fashion Lawn returns at the 2022 Sky Bet Ebor Festival 17th - 20th August.

Featuring across all four days of the Ebor Festival The York Gin Ebor Fashion Lawn is where racegoers can take part in the style stakes off the track.

All racegoers are invited to take to the catwalk located in front of the Edwardian Weighing Room, where our panel of judges will look to find the most stylish racegoers at the Ebor Festival.

The Ebor Fashion Lawn is open to everyone and will be a focal point at the Sky Bet Ebor Festival, where there are some fabulous prizes up for grabs across several categories.

Sponsor of the Fashion Lawn and local distillers York Gin will generously provide a luxury gin hamper as well as a personalised embossed bottle of their gin to the most stylish racegoer and runner up and most stylish couple.

This year York Racecourse is delighted to partner with independent occasion wear brand The 8th Sign. Founder and director Melissa Barton will join the judging panel across two days as well a provide a voucher to the Most Style Racegoer and runner up to spend with The 8th Sign. 

Head judge and milliner George Durdy will generously provide the racegoers with the most stylish headwear with a voucher to spend on her collection (up to a value of £200). Festival sponsor Sky Bet are also providing two tickets to a EFL football game of choice to the winning couple judged to be the most stylish. Children are also welcome to take part with The Potions Cauldron, based in York, generously providing the prizes for this category.

Finally, York Racecourse will include a VIP day at the 2023 Dante Festival as part of the winning prize for the most stylish racegoer as well as tickets to Day 1 of the 2023 Dante Festival in the wider categories.

Racegoers will need to register on the day to enter between 11-2.30pm, with the final judging of contestants happening from 3.50pm.
