A series of videos have been unveiled by York Racecourse providing a behind the scenes insight across a raceday.

The videos aim to inform York’s racing public on the expertise and passion within its team, with a focus on the commitment to the racehorse and their welfare and how the racecourse is working to help reduce its impact on the planet.

The ten videos feature people working across York Racecourse or in a wider industry role and showcase the high standards of care and support racehorses receive and the facilities available to them and their racing teams when they visit. Projects focussed on reducing the racecourse’s impact on the environment are also showcased across the hospitality and facilities side of the business.

The topics range from equine expertise, racehorse care and racetrack management to how the racecourse sources food and produce sustainably and locally as well as single use plastic reduction and zero to landfill on waste.
