Star filly Enable is said to be 'bang on course' to lead an all star cast at next weeks Welcome to Yorkshire Ebor Festival at York.

She's set for the final British race of her career which connections hope will end in a historic third triumph in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe in Paris is early October.

She'll line up in the Darley Yorkshire Oaks on the second day of the meeting, and will carry the same colours as the legendary Frankel.

She's owned by Prince Khalid Abdullah whose Racing Manager, Lord Teddy Grimthorpe has been speaking with Mike Vince

Charles Hamilton on Weatherbys Million Pound Bonus

Champion stayer Stradivarius needs only to win next months Weatherbys Hamilton Lonsdale Cup at the Ebor Festival next month to scoop a one million pound bonus for the second year running.

Amid joyous scenes last year Stradivarius romped home at York last August to complete a clean sweep of the top staying races and after his win in the Goodwood Cup 2 miles on the Knavesmire stands between him and a second million pound bonanza.

The bonus has been put up by Weatherbys Hamilton, the race sponsors.

Their Chief Executive, Charles Hamilton spoke with Mike Vince at Goodwood.

Michael Dods on Get Knotted

The seven year old Get Knotted will try for an amazing fourth win in a row in York's opening race in saturday, which has been named in his honour.

Trained by Michael Dods, he'll have jockey Paul Mulrennan on  board, and has 10 rivals.

Rob Hornby - John Smith's Diamond Jubilee Cup

Pivoine, trained by Andrew Balding and ridden by Rob Hornby has won a thrilling John Smith's Diamond Jubilee Cup at York.

The five year old stormed home by a length to win a thrilling battle with Setting Sail, with What's the Story third.

It's the biggest day in the racing life of jockey Rob Hornby, who'se been attached to the winning yard all his career.

He spoke with MIke Vince.
