Mark Johnston has become the most successful trainer by winners in British Racing history at York this afternoon.
Poet's Society's win, under jockey Frankie Dettori in the Clipper Logistics Handicap was the 4194th of Johnston's career, beating the record held by Richard Hannon.
Johnston had been waiting for several days after equalling the record at the weekend and he's been speaking with Mike Vince

Michael Shinners on Draw4>

The favourite Stratum has been handed Stall 4 in the barrier draw for saturday's £500,000 Skybet Ebor.
He safely got into the race as number 19 and will be one of four Irish challengers for Europe's richest handicap.

The three year old Roaring Lion has turned in a breathtaking performance to land the One Million pound Juddmonte International from a star studded field.
It's a first win in the race for trainer John Gosden and jockey Oisin Murphy. The favourite Poet's Word was second and Thundering Blue, the outsider, a brave third.

The clash between the winners of the French and Irish Oaks is the headline in the Darley Yorkshire Oaks, the feature race on Day Two of the Ebor Festival at York.
Laurens will bid to keep the big prize in the White Rose County for trainer Karl Burke after back to back successes in France, including the French Oaks last time, while Sea of Class completed a hattrick with Classic success in Ireland last time.
PJ McDonald, as usual, will be on board Laurens.
He's been sharing his pre race thoughts with Mike Vince.
