Billy Lee on his ride in the Sky Bet Ebor

Jockey Billy Lee bids to add victory in Europe's richest handicap to his memorable year when he takes the ride on the Paddy Twomey trained Earl of Tyrone in the Sky Bet Ebor at York, worth half a million pounds.

The horse is bidding for a four timer and has crossed the Irish Sea at the head of a five strong Irish challenge to win the race for the third time in four years.

Jason Hart lands his first Coolmore Wootton Bassett Nunthorpe

Star mare Highfield Princess, trained at Malton within an hour of the track, has claimed the Coolmore Wootton Bassett Nunthorpe Stakes, the feature sprint of the Sky Bet Ebor Festival at York.

Just days after a Group 1 win in France, John Quinn's stable star swooped late to deny flying juvenile The Platinum Queen by a decisive two and a half lengths.

The favourite Earl of Tyrone will come from stall 8 for Europe's richest handicap, the Sky Bet Ebor, at York on Saturday.

He's one of a strong challenge from Ireland, who have won 2 of the last 3 runnings.

The top weight, the David O'Meara trained Get Shirty has the highest stall of all in 24.

Royal Aclaim heads for the Coolmore Wootton Bassett Nunthorpe

Rising sprint star Royal Aclaim will head to post as favourite for the Coolmore Wootton Bassett Nunthorpe Stakes,the feature race on Day 3 of the Sky Bet Ebor Festival and the final Group 1 race of the week.

He's been well backed since running away with the John Smith's City Wall Stakes over the course in July, and although he has yet to be tested at the highest level, trainer James Tate believes the fact he's run at the Knavesmire is a big plus.
